A Drunken Fairytale

The Purple Dress Run is one of the Atlanta Bucks’ signature fundraising events. It helps the Bucks operate and supports the players as it prepares to travel to the 2025 NORAM Cup in Boston, Mass.

The event is a twist on a bar crawl concept. Tickets purchased for the event will include drink tickets that are to be redeemed at the various stops along the crawl, with an additional two at the closing party that ends where it started, The Atlanta Eagle.

The route is as follows: Atlanta Eagle, Oscar's, Felix's, Blake's, and My Sister's Room.

Pre-sale tickets cost $45 (includes drink tickets and a closing party wristband) and $50 at the door (while supplies last).

Patrons are invited to participate in the fun of the dress-up by either wearing their favorite version of a purple dress or in an interpretation of the theme, A Drunken Fairytale. Awards will be given for the best concepts at the closing party. The Purple Dress Run is a great way to kick off a celebration of spring in Atlanta, with a great opportunity to enjoy beautiful weather with the Atlanta Bucks and some of the great local establishments that support our community.

Registration begins at The Atlanta Eagle at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 26. The route will return to The Eagle at approximately 5 p.m.

If you wish to attend the closing party but not the full run, a $15 wristband is available. It includes two drinks and access to the party and all that is included. A special menu will be available at the Eagle, as served by Eat It Café, for anyone who wishes to order food not included in the ticket price.
